Give your Mustang a race car look with this 5 lb. billet aluminum fuel cap. Machined for a direct fit, not hand-bent or formed, it is assembled with stainless steel hardware, precision stainless steel hinge spacers and nylon washers, and mounting bushings for a perfect fit that requires no drilling into the sheet metal (although the interior plastic housing is removed during the installation process). The door is held in place by the plated mounting system, featuring press-fit neodymium rare earth magnets and a unique latch that is retained with stainless steel hardware, preventing it from loosening stuck-on components. It installs in about 20 minutes with common hand tools, and is available in black and the polished finish shown in the photo.
